How are classes conducted?
Online, where students thrive. The coach and students login at the class time. Students are able to view the lesson and engage in a live conversation with the entire class. They can even see their Coach on video!
What kind of topics are covered in the lessons?
Career topics like getting a job, setting yourself apart, working with others, dealing with challenges or rejection, and making powerful impressions. College topics like finding the right internship, creating an "Impact Project", winning scholarships, and campus interviews. Business topics like leadership, influencing people, marketing your idea, networking effectively, and the value of "service."
What if my child misses a class?
We expect students to attend regularly. It's what makes a group... well... an effective group. So, two strikes and a student may be out, unless for a serious, good cause. Please check with your coach. But, typically, a student may be released after two missed classes. If a student knows he/she will not be able to make a class they should email their coach in advance with the reason and ask what information they will be missing.
What standards do you have for the group?
We've modeled our coaching program after some of the best programs available although typically for adults. So, yes, we've set some standards to which we expect students to adhere. It's what makes our program so strong. Those standards are:
- Respect for others – listening without interruption and responding to communications within a 24-hour time period
- Commitment to the class – Attending class on time and at the specified times
- Passion – We want students who are excited to be in SuperCoach – who truly want to make a difference in their lives
What if my child no longer wants to participate?
When a child stops participating for whatever reason, it can impact the entire group, so we hope this never happens. However, if the child does fail to participate in more than two sessions, SuperFutures has the right to remove him or her from the program without a refund. We do ask for a minimum one-year commitment.
If we choose to cancel my child's membership, is there a refund?
Yes. We allow parents the option to cancel their child's membership up until the day before the first session. Once your child's session begins, there are no refunds. We invest enormous time and energy into coordinating your child's participation as well as the program itself. We ask for a commitment from both sides.
What if my child doesn't like the coach?
We'd be happy to put him or her into another group, keeping within our 10-student maximum.
Do you offer individual, one-on-one coaching?
Yes. Please email or call us.
I have a question not addressed here – what can I do?
Please email us at info@superfutures.org. We'll get right back.
