European Union (EU) simulation run by Civic Concepts International (CCI) to get a hands on experience on how the EU operates. The day will end with a group debate. June 25thPanel discussions on responsible leadership, youth participation and gender equity. June 26thContinue CCI EU simulation. After lunch, students engage in a public service project. June 27thIn the morning, students continue with their public service project. In the afternoon, visit Prague's beauties including Prague Castle, Lesser Town, Charles Bridge, and Old Jewish Quarter June 28thWrap-up EU simulation by CCI. Travel from Prague to Budapest on a private motor coach. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a Hungarian Restaurant. June 29thHalf-day seminar on the present economic and political situation in Hungary with a focus on helping the students answer the question: How do youth leaders face global change? In the afternoon, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Castle District. June 30thFirst, step inside the American Embassy to learn about procedures and life of an embassy. Then, hear from KultTurist, a new, growing company in Budapest, about how their leaders combine sustainable and locally managed, cultural tourism with profitable gains. July 1stVolunteer on a public service project with local high schools. July 2ndHalf-day seminar on leadership politics and sociology featuring guests such as former US Ambassador Gabor Brodi. In the afternoon, visit the Hungarian Parliament and see the famous Hungarian Crown Jewels. Enjoy a Farewell Cultural dinner with Hungarian folk music and dance.
